Pop Up Shop - Ted Baker London

  • Key Takeaway: This group project was established in my retail management class during the spring quarter of 2023. Three other group members and I were asked to develop a comprehensive plan for creating a pop-up shop for Ted Baker London.

  • Objective: Students will implement merchandising and financial planning techniques. Students will learn fundamental terms and concepts in marketing and retailing operations. Students will be exposed to current retail formats. Students will critically evaluate factors affecting strategic decisions, including location investments, supply chains, information systems, and customer retention programs. Students will discuss how retailers communicate to customers with tactics such as pricing, merchandise assortment, and store management. Students will develop a business plan for a retail store.

  • Scope: Students will work in teams to develop a comprehensive plan for creating a pop-up shop for a retailer of their choice (approved by the professor). The project will be developed through a series of class reviews with a final presentation
