Creating a Flagship Store

  • Key Takeaway: This project was established in my visual communications class during the spring quarter of 2023. I was asked to create a mock flagship brick-and-mortar store location for my chosen brand, Dover Street Market. I also had to research the brand's identity. I created a brick-and-mortar luxury retail location for Dover Street Market in San Francisco, CA.

  • Objective: Students will demonstrate a visual aesthetic and an awareness of the design applications in the physical environment.

  • Scope: Students will work to create a Flagship store for a fictitious company. Students will communicate four major messages through visual presentations to create a compelling shopping environment for their target customers. Groups will employ visual communication techniques discussed during the quarter to deliver their messages with clarity and impact.
