Contemporary Issues in Fashion: Case Study 1: Ganni

  • Key Takeaway: This was a case study project for my class on contemporary issues in Fashion Merchandising. One other partner and I researched the corporate social responsibility practices and background of GANNI, a Danish womenswear company.

  • Objective: To identify industry best practices in Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR). To devise ways to improve industry practices that will benefit all stakeholders. To demonstrate expertise in identifying sources of information and to develop critical thinking skills. 

  • Scope: Students will work in teams of 2 to research, analyze and present how a specific fashion brand addresses Corporate Social Responsibility and how the brand could improve in this area.
