Consumer-Centric Evaluation - Nordstrom
Key Takeaway: This individual project was established in my retail management class during the spring quarter of 2023. I was asked to assess a retailer's consumer-centric strategy, and I chose to analyze Nordstrom's Consumer-Centric Retail Strategy.
Objective: Students will critically evaluate factors that affect strategic decisions, including investments in locations, supply chains, information systems, and customer retention programs. Students will discuss how retailers communicate to customers with tactics such as pricing, merchandise assortment, and store management, students will apply current trends and technology within the retail environment, and students will be exposed to current retail formats.
Scope: Each individual will select a local consumer-centric brand(retail or wholesale/retail) and observe and analyze how they execute on all customer touch points in all channels (Online, offline, mobile app, and social media).
