Brand Extension: Carter's
Key Takeaway: This was my final project for a product development class I took in Fall 2022. We needed to create a brand extension for an existing clothing company and create tech packs and flat costing sheets.
Objective: Understand how retailers and wholesalers create special, store-branded merchandise for targeted customer segments. The product development process is studied, from research to production to distribution. Students will apply strategic planning in the product development process. Students will assess the relationship between target customers and product development. Students will analyze and apply industry resources and research.
Additional Notes: This was a collaborative group project. I had two other partners. The slides I specifically worked on include the overview section, selling proposition, T&A Calendar, Flats, Line Flats, Branding, and mock storefront/interior.
